Dear UNA Members and website followers:

Thanks to the diligent, thoughtful work of the UNA Government Relations Committee leadership (Diane Forster-Burke, Olivia Prebus and Jack Castellanos), President Sharon Dingman, President Elect Andy Nydegger and UNA Director at Large Teresa Garrett, attached is the letter UNA sent to the newly established Utah Health Workforce Advisory Council yesterday

GRC continues to pursue input from our frontline colleagues representing all Utah nursing workplaces across the state in order to clarify nurses' current and anticipated challenges and potential remedies. 
 
Reminder: the 2022 UNA Membership Assembly is scheduled on Zoom for Thursday, September 22nd, 6:00 - 7:30 PM at which time candidates for the 2022 Board Election will have an opportunity to address the Assembly regarding their candidacy. The election will open October 1st and all current UNA members will receive the link to vote via Survey Monkey.
