The Utah Nurses Association (UNA) mourns the loss of fellow nurse Alex Pretti. During his time as a nurse, he helped veterans in need improve their lives. This loss will be mourned by nurses and veterans alike. We encourage the legal process to be transparent and just so that the country can heal.
UNA is collaborating with nursing leaders across the country to build a nationwide movement that amplifies community voices, drives healing through justice, and demands systems of accountability rooted in compassion. Action is coming soon, and we will need every nurse, veteran, and neighbor to stand with us.
